You will be take to a recovery room. You may feel slightly groggy and confused due to affect of anaesthesia. on your brain. You may experience nausea, headache and sometimes vomiting but it is not to be too much concerned about and can be managed with medication.
After a period of fasting, you will be gradually allowed to take sips of water. If you tolerate that then clear fluid and ultimately solid food will be allowed.
Some discomfort and cramping will be present post surgery but will be managed with medication. In case you feel that you more painkiller, please inform the sister who I will instruct to give more potent painkiller.
Avoid lifting heavy objects and avoid intercourse for a couple of weeks.
Please expect some bleeding or clot up to 4-5 days post procedure.
